Client: Sunday Script

  • Logo Design

  • Sunday Script is a Copywriting Agency specializing in effective, impactful, and handwritten copy. They needed a logo suite to make them stand out and a business card design.

  • The goal was to create a brand identity that highlighted the “handwritten” nature of their copywriting—an authentic touch that stands out in today’s AI-driven landscape. For Sunday Script, this element of real, personal writing is what makes them unique. The logo needed to be memorable and visually distinct to help them rise above the noise of competitors.

To bring the essence of Sunday Script’s “handwritten copy” to life, I designed a logo centered around a stylized hand holding a fountain pen—an unmistakable symbol of personal, crafted writing. The bold, illustrative style sets it apart from the muted and minimal branding commonly seen in the copywriting space. By choosing a warm, expressive color palette and a hand-drawn look, the logo captures the human touch behind their work, reinforcing the authenticity that sets Sunday Script apart in a world increasingly filled with impersonal, AI-generated content.

Handwritten Copy

Process

The concept for this logo came to me almost instantly—I knew a hand holding a fountain pen would perfectly capture the handwritten, personal nature of Sunday Script’s copywriting. To keep the design authentic and true to the brand’s spirit, I used a photo of my own hand as the reference. From there, I translated the image into a bold, illustrative mark that feels both expressive and intentional. This direct and personal approach not only aligned with the brand’s values but also allowed the final design to feel genuine and memorable—something that would stand out in a sea of sterile, corporate branding.
